Chapter 1 at Apex 2014: a new achievement of the company Socage – the new electric articulated aerial working platform without stabilization ForSte 12A has been recently completed. The forSte 12A, which will be showed in June at the fair APEX in Amsterdam (24th-26th june 2014, Stand 750) is able to reach a maximum working height of 11,9 meters, has a load capacity of 120 kg and a lateral outreach of 5 meters.
The ground-breaking idea of this platform is the fact that no stabilizers are required.
The forSte 12A can be indeed assembled and disassembled on any truck and pick-up of at least of 3,0 ton, without having to make big changes on the truck and without the aid of stabilizers.
To move the aerial part of the platform the user doesn’t need the engine of the vehicle, but just electricity. This platform therefore stands as a revolutionary working equipment for the market, since it can be seen as a simple and non-permanent work platform.
