In the last few days a Socage forSte TJJ70, sold to and installed by the American partner of the company Socage Truck Utilities, has been spotted and pictured while working in Western Minnesota. The work aerial platform Socage, at the time the biggest platform built by the company, is being used to work in different public spaces by a contractor. The pictures show one of the two TJJ70 (the second one will be delivered in March) working on power lines , surrounded by a typical winter landscape, proving how the platform is able to function under extreme weather conditions.
The forSte TJJ70 is an articulated aerial work platform with two jibs mountable on trucks with g.v.w. of 32ton; this model is indeed equipped with an additional jib, which allows the operator to move more easily and very precisely; much more than with a platform with a single jib. The platform has a maximum working height of 68,5m and a maximum outreach of 36,5m, with a maximum load in the basket of 600kg (6 operators + tools).
These characteristics make the platform particularly suitable on a market such the American one, which requires big and high aerial platforms, which can at the same time be used for different purposes.
