The 10th edition of the GIS exhibition in Piacenza, held from 25 to 27 September 2025, has come to a close. During the event, the Socage and CTE brands took the opportunity to present to the press the strategic vision that guided Socage’s acquisition of the Trentino-based company.
The days at GIS proved to be the ideal occasion to showcase the value of the new structure created by the union of two historic brands in the lifting industry, not only to the specialised press but also to the large number of visitors who attended the exhibition.
The transaction, completed in August 2025, gave rise to a unique organisation that brings together deep market knowledge, well-established industrial expertise and commercial synergies, enabling the group to serve different market segments with innovative products and efficient customer service.
The new structure of CTE and its integration with Socage represent a fresh response to the market, designed to address its continuous evolution and to ensure a future of growth for both companies.
From an operational point of view, the two brands will continue to operate separately, each maintaining its own identity, while taking advantage of the synergies offered by the new organisation, particularly in terms of services. Looking ahead, a strengthened after-sales service network is planned, with a greater number of technicians able to respond to service requests, including on-site interventions at customers’ premises.
With regard to product strategy, both brands will maintain their respective product lines, optimising the ranges where overlaps are identified. In the future, the synergy between the two brands is expected to provide an even stronger boost to range development, thanks to a shared pool of knowledge and expertise, offering the market an even more comprehensive and high-performing selection of solutions.
