This award recognises a platform that reflects our approach to innovation: developing increasingly complete, easy-to-use solutions designed to meet the real needs of professionals working at height every day.
Above all, however, it is a recognition we want to share. Behind every new platform, every innovation and every step forward, there are many people who make it possible.
20A SPEED: a new approach to 20-metre truck-mounted platforms
When we developed the SOCAGE forSte 20A SPEED, we started with a very clear objective: to create a truck-mounted platform capable of delivering outstanding performance while maintaining extremely compact dimensions.
The result is an articulated platform with a maximum working height of 19.70 metres, 12 metres of lateral outreach and an overall length of just 6.40 metres.
A combination specifically designed for urban work, historic town centres, narrow streets, industrial facilities and any environment where every centimetre matters.
If it fits, it works
One of the most distinctive features of the 20A SPEED is its fixed vertical outriggers, which remain within the width of the vehicle during stabilisation.
This makes it possible to work in very confined spaces without requiring additional lateral room.
This is where one idea perfectly sums up the philosophy behind the platform: if it fits, it works.
Its compact dimensions are combined with 12 metres of lateral outreach, allowing operators to cover a wide working area from a single position and reduce the need for repositioning during the job.
More possibilities with a single platform
The 20A SPEED stands out for more than just its dimensions. Its design brings together a range of solutions aimed at increasing the number of applications that can be carried out with a single machine.
Certified exit at height, front basket mounting, long-stroke outriggers and the option to install a hook kit with a removable basket significantly expand its range of applications.
For us, performance is not measured only in metres. It is also measured by a platform’s ability to carry out more types of work and create more opportunities for our customers.
SPEED technology makes complex operations simple
The 20A is part of our SPEED range, a product philosophy developed to automate key manoeuvres and help operators work more simply, quickly and safely.
Automatic stabilisation and automatic stowing simplify some of the most frequent operations during the working day and reduce the number of manoeuvres required to set up or stow the platform.
These functions are complemented by technologies and operator-assistance systems such as SOCAGE Connect, Smart ID, EasyFix, AutoStart, SafeLevel and SOCAGE Recovery Assist.
We do not introduce technology simply for the sake of adding technology. Our aim is for every solution to serve a clear purpose and provide real support to the operator, technician and company that owns the machine.
