Socage Nacelle and Socage Nord Afrique at Batimat 2017

Oct 25, 2017 | Articles

You will find Socage Nacelle and Socage Nord Afrique at Batimat 2017 trade show in Paris, from November 6th to 10th.
On this occasion we will present 3 of our aerial platforms: the ForSte 12VT, the ForSte 28D and ForSte SPJ315.
First of all the 12VT of the van range, a van-mounted platform, designed for professional workers who need to work at height and space for tools. Capable of reaching a working height of 12 m with a maximum offset of 7.5 m, it has a basket load capacity of 120 kg.
You will also discover the completely revolutionized 28D double articulated platform of our last E Series.
This is an aerial work platforms mounted on 3.5 ton truck with a load capacity of 300 kg. The chassis has the special X-shape patented exclusively by Socage. Thanks to its electrical control, its stabilization X (ME + ME), the rotation of the aerial part of 700 ° and the rotation of the basket aluminum (size 1400x700xh 1100 mm) of 90 + 90 ° and its light structure, all the aerial platform of the E series are very competitive on the market. The typical X-shaped chassis (ME + ME) allows universal installation for all trucks and the vertical out riggers.
Another innovation that characterizes the E-series aerial platforms is the presence of SPP – “Socage Project Profile” profiles, born from the close collaboration between Socage and WelserProfileGmbH. SPP is the development of tubular profiles in high-strength material created with the objective of making the chassis of this ultra-lightweight aerial platform range. Indeed, the advantages of SPP are the modular approach, a reduction of the 30% to the 50% of the weight of the aerial part and a considerable reduction of the consumption of the truck. The Forste 28D has a maximum working height of 28m and a maximum offset of 14.50m.
Finally, we will introduce the SPJ315, a tracked aerial platform with a maximum working height of 15 m and a maximum out of reach of 7 m. It is able to lift 225 kg (2 operators + tools) without any limitations in the entire working area. One of the best characcteristic of this aerial paltform is  being extremely efficient for reduced space requirements, only 78 cm wide in translation phase.
The rotation of the aerial part at 350 ° makes it possible to work on a large area like the hydraulic jib, able to perform vertical rotations from -90 ° to + 35 °.
SPJ315 can be equipped with a tracked trolley that can be expanded and a 230 V electric motor, which is essential for interventions in closed environments such as industrial buildings or churches.
Thus, these three exceptional aerial platforms will be presented to you at the BATIMAT2017 trade show. You will be able to attend demonstrations and the SOCAGE team will be at your disposal to answer your questions.
We are waiting for you at booth 5B-D28!
