Socage uses the electrocoating treatment

Socage applies the electrocoating treatment on the booms before painting them.
Electrocoating is a painting preliminary treatment. Pieces are submerged in a liquid composed of water, resin, pigments, electric charges and solvents.
The development of an electric field and electrochemical events determines the elements’ deposition on the steel and the painting’s solidification, which is then polymerized in the oven.
Electrocoating ensures a better resistance to corrosion and to chemical agents’ attack, by optimizing the final painting’s adherence.
