Victory and new record in Dobsina for Simone Faggioli

The second stage of the away games of the European Championship Mountain FIA finishes with a clear victory of Simone Faggioli who achieves his first absolute place in both rounds of the race, reducing of almost 5 seconds the previous record of the layout, established by himself in 2014, with the new half of 2’15″783.
Faggioli, driving his Norma M20 FC tired Pirelli, enjoyed the use of a perfect vehicle, set ad hoc thanks to the warm-up on Saturday that, in spite of a storm, gave him essential facts to face the race.
 
“In truth I didn’t expect this chronometric validation. I’m happy! Before the start I felt I could enjoy the use of a perfect vehicle, but I could have never imagined to score this half! I want to congratulate especially the Organizing Committee of the Dobinsky Kopec because they really did their best to let us racers driving on a dry layout. It is very important for everybody that there is collaboration in these events. Now I take a break of a pair of weeks to be at the start of Mont Dore race, in France, the 12^th and the 13^th of August”.
