ForSte Onlus Association

The Association ForStewas born on the 10th of April 2012 to conmemoratethe memory of Stefano Flisi, died because of an heart attack when he was just 15 years old.His parents, Fiorenzo and Cristina, and his twin, Alessandro, instead of giving up, decided to keep on fighting, as Stefano did for his entire life, to help all those who need to face the same problems. The association was therefore born to support those who take care of infants, children and adolescents suffering from congenital heart diseases and their families.
The No Profit Association donates the funds they raise to:
– The pediatric cardiology and cardio surgery units of the Policlinico Sant’Orsola Malpighi Hospital of Bologna, to  buy all that can help people affected by heart diseases improving their lives, such as medical devices or to offer  training courses to doctor and nurses of the hospital;
– To the association “Piccoligrandicuori”, which has been helping families and children affected by congenital    heart diseases
– To the pediatric unit, especially the immunology department, of the Policlinico Sant’Orsola Malpighi Hospital of   Bologna to buy medical devices and tools useful for their activities.
In addition, the Association has supported other valuable projects.
We raise funds thanks to spontaneous donations, thanks to people who subscribe to the association, by selling promotional material and by organizing events.
