Socage Dealer Day 2015 Sorbara 09/16/15
Much to say, starting from the products: defined the latest version of the 4 Series, projected on the patented X chassis, highly versatile, which deeply improves the 3 series in terms of performances and total weight, and adds 75 kg to the basket capacity (225kg at the beginning), the first version of the E Series, (E stands for Electrical), again another line of aerial platforms mounted on 3.5 tons trucks. The first platform, the forSte 21DJ, a double articulated with jib, proved to be a success.
The event Socage Dealer Day 2015 has been the occasion to unveil also two structural changes. First of all a partnership with the Austrian company Welser, that produces special profiles through roll forming – this technology grants a replicability and reliability otherwise impossible and thanks to which Socage can create complex profiles with particular materials such as DOCOL SSAB. The forSte 28D, first result of this work, has been the basis for the entire E Series. Socage then formalized the acquisition of the company CATT srl, specialized in fab shop, laser cutting and robot welding, letting Socage control the whole production process, starting from raw material and getting up to circa 140 workers.
Not only work though – a tour of Rome and a dinner close to San Pietro Basilica were organized for the customers, who had the chance to reinforce even more the relationship between Socage and its dealers.
